about our CEO

at TW Storytelling Agency

TW Storytelling Agency was launched to help NGOs, social impact organizations and journalists become better visual storytellers.

Our founder and CEO, Tara Todras-Whitehill, is an award-winning photojournalist. She's passionate about helping global game-changers hone their media skills and create content that achieves maximum impact.

In the last ten years she has co-founded and ran two visual storytelling agencies. The clients we've worked with include: UNICEF, IRC, Sesame Street, Search for Common Ground, HRW, The New York Times, and a number of other small and large organizations.

Tara was also an Associated Press staff photographer based in the Middle East and continues to shoot for the New York Times and a number of other top-tier publications.

Her accolades include a World Press Photo award for her coverage of Ebola survivors in Sierra Leone. She's also the recipient of the James Foley Award for Conflict Reporting.

More of Tara's photography can be found here.

"Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.”
